Festive Season Exhibition
Gallery Artists

Indigenart has commissioned a series of works from the gallery artists to present an exciting selection of smaller works for gifts.

Doris Thomas, a Luritja woman from Titjikala, is one of the featured artists. A regular exhibitor since 1994 in the Desert Mob exhibition held at the Araluen Centre for the Arts,Doris' works encapsulate life in the Central Desert.

Pauline Moran has been painting her recollections of Christmas time in Rowlands Mission. The native Christmas tree would flower to herald in the season. Children were asked to write down their wishes for gifts. Families could come to dine with the children.

Indigenart is proud to present for the first time a unique series of woodblock prints created by the artists of Iwantja Arts and Crafts. Also featured are works by Dinni Kemarre, Josie Kunoth, Gladdy Kemarre, Peggy Wassi, Desmond Taylor, artists from Waringarri,Warlukurlangu and Shane Pickett
